A seminar on risk and health and safety for those involved in the delivery and installation of machinery and dust extraction equipment has been organised by the Woodworking Machinery Suppliers Association (WMSA).

To be held at the Holiday Inn, Rugby, Northampton on December 5, the seminar will cover topics such as risk assessment as required by Regulation 3 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations; the increasing requirement to provide method statements; applications of health and safety regulations when machinery is being delivered and installed; and the legal obligations of the supplier and the customer.

The speakers will be Tony Kaye of the WMSA and Keith Dobson of Yew Lodge Health and Safety Training.
