Tony Willis, managing director of Euroforest Ltd, is the new president of the UK Forest Products Association. He takes over from Hamish Macleod who has completed a two-year term of office.
John Brownlie, director, BSW Timber plc, has been appointed vice-president.
At the AGM on May 15, three regional chairmen’s appointments were also confirmed: Andrew Smith of BSW Timber plc for north Scotland; Gavin Davidson, Iggesund Forestry (UK) Ltd for south Scotland; and George Conway of AE Evans (Rounda Fencing) Ltd for Wales and the Midlands.
