Hardwood stockist Whitmore’s Timber Company is to invest £350,000 in a new sawmill.
The decision follows yard facility improvements which cost in the region of £250,000.
Formerly linked with Smee Timber Company Ltd, Whitmore’s is now fully independent and the new sawmill, due to be commissioned in April, forms part of its ongoing expansion programme.
