Medite MDF manufacturer Weyerhaeuser Europe is the winner of James Latham plc’s best panels supplier award.
It was selected on the basis of quality, both of product and service.
Lathams claims to be the first company to purchase Medite MDF from Weyerhaeuser Europe’s Irish production plant at Clonmel, in November 1983. Group panel products director Chris Sutton still has the original invoice, for £4,000 worth of Medite, in Latham’s files.
A second Dieffenbacher CPS continuous production system, able to produce up to 250,000m3 of Medite MDF annually, went on line at Clonmel last year. Total Medite output now stands at 400,000m3.
