The Arnold Laver Group is spending £500,000 expanding its production facilities at Sheffield, Bradford and South Shields.
Lavers, which has selected Weinig UK as its partner in the investment, will increase production at Sheffield by improving mechanical handling efficiency.
In Bradford, a second Weinig Powermat will be added to satisfy the demands of its moulding business.
The company said the strategic investments are part of its expansion plans and commitment to value-added timber processing for the group’s 15 outlets.
