German woodworking machinery manufacturer Weinig is to take part in a development programme to help the timber industry in the Tomsk region in Russia.
Representatives of the company, which exports heavily to Russia, will visit Tomsk in June and participate in an exhibition for local timber processors.
It is hoped that a group of entrepreneurs from Tomsk will later study in Germany on work placements.
