Walter’s grinding and measuring machines will now be available in Britain from Körber Schleifring UK, which has set up an operation in Kenilworth.
The move follows Körber Schleifring GmbH’s takeover of Walter AG’s machine division earlier this year.
Walter sales director Neil Whittingham and his team will transfer to Kenilworth to handle UK machine sales and servicing.
Machines being sold under the Körber Schleifring umbrella include Helitronic tool grinders, Helicheck and Heli Toolcheck tool measuring units, plus Walter saw blade grinders.
The change does not affect Walter GB Ltd’s core carbide tools activities, which remain at Redditch.
