One of the star exhibits from Walter was its new two-in-one sharpening system.
The Helitronic Power+ Diamond combines erosion and grinding operations in one machine.
“Compared with using two machines and transferring tools between them, the new Helitronic can produce time savings of up to 40%,” said engineer Fritz Breitmaier.
Another launch was the Heli Toolcheck system which can measure tools length and diameter to an accuracy of +/-2 microns.
Alongside, Walter showed the Woodtronic CNC 5D circular sawblade sharpener in conjunction with the new 3 pallet auto loader. The latter can be loaded up at random and take between 100 and 120 blades at a time in each trolley.
