Wadkin Ultracare has taken on a UK agency role for German tooling manufacturer Oppold.
The deal will see the Leicester-based company cover sales and service for Oppold, which specialises in stack tooling for door and window manufacturers.
Nigel Smith, director at Wadkin UltraCare, said the company’s strong brand name and its team of 25 service engineers covering the UK were important factors in securing the partnership.
Another agreement tied up at Ligna was with US machinery manufacturer Komo. Wadkin Ultracare will provide spare parts, servicing, training and installation support for the company’s range of routers across Northern Europe.
Komo will recruit its own European sales manager to be based at Leicester.
