Timber roof window manufacturer Velux came into this year’s show fresh from winning a Queen’s Award for its house design service.
The Glenrothes-based company divided its stand into distinct areas to cater for different professionals, with installers able to view a cutaway of a Velux window to see how it is installed.
National housing manager Kevin Brennan said 10-15% of stand visitors were installers, while “quite a lot” of specifiers were also in evidence.
