Office furniture manufacturer FFC has bought a Holzma automatic beam saw to keep up with growing demand.
The Holzma, installed at FFC’s 36,000ft2 factory in Keighley, was also specified to deliver long-term dimensional and edge-cut accuracy, flexibility and ease of programming and operation.
The Homag UK-supplied saw, used to produce FFC’s Elements, Eclipse and Balancia ranges, features a mono-rail saw carriage guidance system, a contactless magnetic encoding system for program fence positioning and side pressure devices to help ensure accuracy.
Other equipment recently supplied to FFC includes a Weeke CNC machining centre and a Homag BAZ CNC stationary processor.
