Stewart Dalgarno has been appointed as chairman of the UK Timber Frame Association (UKTFA).
Mr Dalgarno, managing director of Stewart Milne Timber Systems for England and Wales, has played an active part in the UKTFA for eight years, carrying out technical, commercial development and vice-chair roles.
He said he was delighted to be able to lead the UKTFA at such “an interesting time”. He wanted “to ensure that timber frame remains the number one choice among housebuilders, designers and architects who care about high quality, cost-effective homes that can help us tackle the long-term threats of climate change”, he said.
