Rachel Butler has been appointed as The Timber Trade Federation’s (TTF) new sustainability manager.
Ms Butler, who joins the TTF on a part-time contract basis, previously worked for Finnforest and more recently for the Central Point of Expertise on Timber (CPET). She has extensive experience of the TTF’s customer markets and has also previously worked in local government.
Her new role is to interface with the wood industry’s principal customer sectors, such as construction, and develop the initiatives to help them choose wood. She will also work on life cycle analysis, waste management and responsible sourcing.
