Geoff Gudge has joined Trus Joist as regional engineer for the UK.
Mr Gudge spent the past nine years with HLD Ltd, latterly as general manager. HLD, which is part of the John Brash Group, designs, manufactures and installs a wide range of external timber structures. Prior to that he was with the British Board of Agrément for six years as a construction products assessor. Other posts have also included working for a steelwork fabricator, a cladding company and an engineering software firm, with experience gained in Saudi Arabia and Germany.
As Trus Joist’s new regional engineer Mr Gudge will provide technical support to the company’s technical representatives, and will assist stockists of the Silent Floor System and housebuilders with design solutions.
