Charles Townsend has moved on from his role as European regional manager for SmartWood and is now managing director of ForWood International Ltd.
Mr Townsend, who prior to working with SmartWood acted as a timber consultant to the UK DIY retail sector, will work with all sectors of the forest products industry to help establish more efficient supply chains by bringing certified suppliers and buyers together.
He is already facilitating projects in the Baltic states and India.
