Tom Brown, assistant manager at PTG Treatments‘ Hull site, has achieved the highest qualification available in the preservation industry. The Wood Preserving (Industrial Pre-treatment) NVQ certificate was awarded following assessments over a 12-month period.

PTG Treatments director Steve Adam said the achievement was a further step towards PTG’s objective of attaining the highest levels of staff training in the industry.

“NVQ level training benefits both the staff and the company and ensures our treatment centres are managed and operated to the highest standards, which ultimately improves the levels of service to our customers,” he said.
