The UK Timber Frame Association (UKTFA) encouraged visitors to take an interactive timber test and learn about the attributes of timber frame construction methods.
UKTFA representative Joe Martoccia said: “It’s an excellent show and obviously very busy. The key drivers are sustainability, and timber frame delivers all of that.
“There are an awful lot of product development and architectural people wanting to know more about timber and a number from higher education who are hungry for knowledge about timber and timber products.
“We are getting more noticed as an industry. While the industry cannot match the disposable marketing power of the masonry guys I think we are doing a good job as an industry sector.”
