Arch Timber Protection divided its stand in two, one promoting Tanalith E wood preservative and the other the Dricon fire retardant – the latter, in particular, attracted a good deal of interest.

Arch’s fire retardant facilities were consolidated into the company’s Castleford last year. “We’ve invested a significant sum in upgrading our fire retardant centre,” said marketing manager Janet Brown, “and it’s been the main focus of the architects and builders visiting our stand.

Dricon is designed to provide an effective surface spread of flame protection to interior and weather protected exterior wood.
