A plant designed to treat products, including saw blades, with the TriCem metal coating has been commissioned by Surface Technology plc of Leeds.
The treatment, a derivative of the nickel boron family, can be applied to a variety of products including saw blades for cutting forestry and wood products, plus trimming devices for the paper and pulp industry.
The company has obtained an exclusive licence from Universal Chemical Technologies Inc to coat products with TriCem treatment in the UK.
