Visitors to the Storti stand were able to tell the company’s service engineers at its Italian plant to adjust the settings on one of its latest automated Flex pallet-making machines.

The exercise demonstrated Storti’s new Teleservice remote diagnostics operation which uses a webcam and voice over internet protocol.

“The combination allows Storti engineers to talk to the customer about a technical problem and to see their set-up,” said Mario Cucciari.

The company also featured one of its new Flex pallet machines, designed for rapid “clean” output and to make maximum use of a wide range of timber grades.
