New initiatives to improve servicing and spare parts support for Stenner machines are being introduced.

Daltons, which part owns Stenner Ltd, has placed the aftercare facilities provided by its support services division at the disposal of Stenner resaw users nationwide, while Stenner Ltd has unveiled new service packages which it says should help customers service their machines faster and more effectively.

Nottingham-based Daltons said its 20-strong team of mechanical and electrical engineers would provide service and breakdown cover, service contracts, and, where required, a spare parts facility.

As long time UK and Ireland Stenner distributors, Daltons said it was familiar with installing, commissioning and service the Stenner range of Stand-Alone Resaws.

Meanwhile, Stenner Ltd has launched a new service pack containing all the consumable spare parts required for a routine service and including additional components for later use.

“All too often technicians make service calls and leave the customer with a list of components required for each machine simply because they have nothing to fit at the time,” said Stenner sales director Fred Harding. “This would be unacceptable in other industries.”

Mr Harding said the packs would be available from Stenner or its service partners, with the pack price carrying a significant discount over individually-priced items.
