Stenner Ltd and German machinery manufacturer Paul have reached an agreement to sell the firm’s equipment in the UK.

Devon-based Stenner is to handle sales and support for Paul’s range of cross-cut and ripsaws, allowing Paul access to Stenner’s sales and service network.

Stenner is also set to benefit from the agreement by adding Paul’s circular sawing solutions to its existing portfolio of machinery, including bandsaws and resaws.

“It’s an exciting time for timber in the UK and Ireland, and we are looking forward to working with Stenner to further develop and support these markets,” said Paul sales director Manfred Buck,

“We have already employed additional engineers who are fully trained and experienced in Paul saws, so we can immediately provide after-care support to existing customers,” said Stenner managing director Doug Shopland.

Stenner added that it is “preparing a high-profile marketing campaign for Paul”, with Mr Shopland noting that the agreement “fits well with developments that will soon be announced to expand our service to existing customers and attract new business”.
