“Since the launch, we have been putting it through extensive testing in actual work conditions with mills,” said the company’s Carsten Steen.
Durashift blades are about 10% more expensive than Sandvik‘s classic Bright grade, but offer higher tensile strength. Total tipped blade life is 220 hours, 40 more than the Sandvik’s Multishift range.
