The Wellingborough-based company sourced a Weeke Venture 5 CNC machining centre and a Brandt KDF670 edgebander from Homag UK to keep pace with rapid business expansion.
Sloane, which supplies major retail chains with bespoke display furniture, said the Brandt has speeded up production and can apply specialist veneer edging, such as bamboo.
The multi-axis Weeke Venture 5 is designed for fast programming of complex shapes and configurations.
Sloane, which employs 70 staff and has an £11.5m annual turnover, has recently ordered a Ligmatech Boomerang return system to maximise throughput.
