Lake District staircase maker Fallowfield Projects Ltd has installed a Masterwood Winner CNC machining centre.
The seven-year-old company, a member of the British Woodworking Federation, installed the machine in its 10,000ft2 Staveley workshop, to make components for its bespoke softwood and hardwood staircases and other joinery products. The 3.2mx1.2m bed Winner is operated by a full software package.
Prices for the Winner machines range from £40,000-70,000.
