The new structure will divide UK and Ireland sales of SCM group panel product lines, including Gabbiani beam saws, IDM and Stefani edgebadners, Morbidelli CNC drilling machines, Mahros panel handling systems and DMC wide-belt sanders.
Each area manager will now be responsible for the full Hi Tech product range within that area.
Hi Tech areamanager Robbie O’Neil and Chris Arend will drive sales in north-west England and Scotland, south-west England, south Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Machine Sales Ltd has been appointed as the exclusive agent to cover eastern England.
“Machine Sales Ltd has proved its importance within the SCM Group having been the UK agent for Morbidelli and so they were a natural choice of partner,” said Hi Tech panel division sales manager Kelvin Wilkins.
SCM said the new structure would benefit customers by giving them one contact for all SCM group product lines and a better understanding of the Hi Tech panel division.
