SCM has taken personnel from its UK distributors on a study tour of its Rimini manufacturing plants to keep them up to date with latest machines and technological developments in the classical range.
The four-day visit included demonstrations, tutorials, lectures and ‘hands on’ working on a number of machines, including sliding table panel saws, planers, thicknessers, the new Mini Max edge bander and drilling machine and the R9/CN router.
The 15 staff came from Axis Machinery, Blyth Ltd, Denwood, Robert Osborne Machinery, CRM Saw Co, Scott and Sargeant, RJ Machinery, MJM Wood Machinery, The Saw Centre and JMJ Woodworking Machinery. SCM Group UK’s product specialists Brian Stacey and Brian Conlon accompanied the trip.
