SCA Timber AB’s head of technology & development, Lennart Wilhelmsson, has received the Swedish Sawmillers’ Association annual award for services to the timber sector. His award was based on his “genuine and prolonged engagement in research and development in the interests of the timber sector”. The judges said Mr Wilhelmsson was “one of the few to have been successful in adding value to sawmilling products and finding new routes to market”.
