Heavy-duty floor varnish from the Sadolin range was used to protect the wooden floors of a house which featured in the Grand Designs television series.
Sadolin’s PV67 heavy-duty varnish was used on all the internal wooden floors in the four-bedroomed self-build house in Kent, designed by owner John Cadney.
Flooring contractor Elite Floors said the varnish, which it has used for 16 years, provided a hard-wearing finish and highlighted the beauty of the wood.
The product is made up of a two-component acid catalysed lacquer consisting of a modified urea formaldehyde/alkyd polymer, dissolved in a mixture of solvents.
Mr Cadney’s house uses timber as the predominant construction material, both internally and externally.
