Russian door and window manufacturers have completed a visit to Italy to see the latest in woodworking technology.

Ten companies spent five days in the country on a visit organised by Acimall (the Italian woodworking machinery and tools manufacturers’ association) and the Italian foreign trade institute.

The firms saw how window manufacturers are using Italian woodworking technology made by companies including Casolin, Costa Levigatrici, Griggio, SCM and Volpato.

A further group of Russians will return this month, April, while other visits are being planned later in the year involving delegations from countries such as Vietnam and Iran.
