Forestry company RTS Ltd has appointed two new members of staff, Cameron Gillies and Ross Kennedy.

Mr Gillies has joined as woodland manager. He graduated from Inverness School of Forestry with a BSc Forestry in 2004, during which he spent his industrial sandwich year at Catterick, and more recently has been responsible for the design and construction of mountain bike trails in Laggan Community Forest.

Ross Kennedy has joined the harvesting and marketing team, working directly under Alan Robbins. With RTS’s current harvest of 80 – 100,000m3/year, and with further harvesting growth projected over the next few years, Mr Kennedy will continue RTS’s harvesting and marketing development.
