Geo Robson & Co (Conveyors) Ltd has formed a technology and marketing alliance with Norwegian company Saxlund.
Grimsby-based Robson will now market Saxlund’s products, including step feeders, rotary frames and hydraulic rotors, as sole UK agent. The companies are also combining their skills to launch a new generation of Robson/Saxlund push floor bunkers and sliding frame silos for reception, buffer or export schemes.
The machines are designed for several materials, including woodchips, using a series of wedge profile frames inside a flat bottomed vessel. Robson says the machinery will extend the company’s in-house ability to handle difficult materials.
Former Saxlund manager Mike Last has joined Robson to head up design and marketing activities for the new ranges, as well as marketing of Saxlund equipment.
