Laminated beam specialist Lamisell specified Dricon from Arch – the only British Board of Agrément accredited fire retardant for timber – to treat more than 6,000 linear metres of double tongue and groove structural decking.
This will ensure a Class 1 spread of flame protection on the boarded area which will ensure more time in a fire situation.
Because of the location of the lifeboat house, all of the timber had to delivered to site by barge from Padstow quay.
