The company saw its consolidated turnover rise to €90m, with recently-launched CNC machining centres and horizontal pressure beam saws aiding the growth.
Holz-Her, a vertical panel saw and edgebanding specialist, said it had profited from extensive development in new eastern European markets and also in Asia and Australia.
High sales growth was also recorded in central and southern European countries, while North America continued to be Holz-Her’s largest individual market.
Nürtingen-based Holz-Her took on about 80 extra employees last year and plans to recruit more qualified people for its technical division to expand the company’s innovative abilities.
The company will be exhibiting at Xylexpo in Milan during May.
