Proos Roofing has taken delivery of six new vehicles from transport specialist Ryder plc.
The vehicles, including two three-axle 26-tonne dropsides with hydraulic brick-grab cranes, brings the Proos fleet up to 25, each specified to different depot requirements.
The company, which supplies battens, tiles and other building products, has been in partnership with Ryder for five years. It says the contract has not only replaced ageing vehicles but freed up capital for more productive purposes.
Servicing is handled by Ryder at Proos locations from Plymouth in the west to Glasgow and Newcastle in the north.
