Vancouver-based Progressive Solutions said it would now merge ODS’s product line with its own bisTrack software to immediately improve its offering to the building materials industry in North America, the UK and Australia.
“The company’s goal is to be the dominant supplier of supply chain software solutions to the wood products and building materials industry by aggressively deploying its combined resources,” a statement from Progressive Solutions said.
ODS’s integrated software suite, built on Microsoft.NET technology, was developed for Weyerhaeuser’s building materials division and is designed for wholsesale distributors of timber and building materials.
“The ODS team will boost our ability to respond to customer demand, enhance our product offering and keep current with the latest Microsoft technologies,” said Len Williams, president and chief executive officer of Progressive Solutions.
Progressive Solutions’s UK division is based in Runcorn.
