The new year has opened with an all too familiar set of market conditions for chipboard. Manufacturers and agents alike are bemoaning the seeming impossibility of raising prices despite relatively stable demand. Indeed, chipboard price levels appeared virtually becalmed through the second half of 2001 and into 2002.
