Mark Plews, chairman and managing director of UCM Timber plc, has been elected vice-president of the Timber Trade Federation (TTF).
Mr Plews said: “The opportunities for wood have arguably never been greater. With a strong TTF leading the industry we will be able to deliver better member services and more effective lobbying to ensure we grow the use of wood.”
