The first MDF/THDF plant of its kind in Guangdong Province, China has been inaugurated.
Three international manufacturing companies led by Dieffenbacher of Germany supplied equipment for the plant which has a capacity of 165,000 m3 of MDF a year.
Dieffenbacher delivered the main process section including drying, sifting, gluing, CPS forming and pressing section through to the board handling, stacking and fully automatic warehousing with sanding and a final board cut to size operation.
The wood yard and fibre preparation front end section were supplied by Andritz of Austria and the energy centre by Belgian company Vyncke.
