Pasquill demonstrated the range and performance of its engineered timber construction products at Timber Expo by building its stand with them.

The 48m² structure, shared with fellow Saint-Gobain company International Timber, comprised roof, cladding and floor systems, with a choice of “joist solutions”, including I-beams and the timber and steel-web Posi-Joist.

“The focus was on how modern engineered timber products, such as panelised floor and roof systems, provide quality, rapid and easy-to-install building solutions,” said Pasquill managing director Stuart McKill.

While the roof system used on the stand was trussed rafter-based, Pasquill also highlighted that it provides the panelised smartroof and JJI-joist IntelliRoof systems too.

The company was particularly targeting specifiers, construction companies and fabricators – and also promoted its supply and fit service.

“The building industry today is looking for complete solutions and our aim is to highlight the latest areas of innovation,” said Mr McKill.

Pasquill also saw value in the show as “an educational opportunity and knowledge-based event”.

“The seminars in the Timber Talks Theatre were a great opportunity to communicate with customers and specifiers,” said Mr McKill.
