Securing a UK distributor or agent was high on the list of priorities for German panel/door blank company SWL and its Indonesian-based supply partner BBP.
Global distributor B&T Wood-Trading made up a trio of companies on the stand, as products such as laminboard, blockboard and special lightwood panels and door blanks were promoted.
“We are very satisfied with the show,” said BBP chief executive officer Jacob Goss. “We think it’s been the right move for us to come here.”
BBP’s “Litewood” brand is made from ultra-light timber albasia falcate and used as the core material in a variety of panel products for the furniture and interior construction sectors.
SWL’s range of door blanks includes products featuring Delignit Panzerholz, a “bullet resistant” specialist beech plywood for additional security in entrance doors.
