Forestry and waste industry handling equipment supplier Outreach plc is dropping its dealership of Loglift and Jonsered cranes in favour of the Epsilon brand.

The Falkirk-based company, which has been the sole UK distributor for Loglift and Jonsered cranes during the past 24 years, is to take over the nationwide distribution of Epsilon timber handling and recycling cranes from July 1.

Outreach had already been the exclusive dealer for Palfinger, Epsilon’s parent company, in Scotland for nearly 30 years. It said its decision was partly due to the takeover of Partek, Loglift and Jonsered’s parent company, by Kone.

Currently, Epsilon products are being sold through Wiltshire-based TH White. But restructuring of the marketing arrangements will see Outreach concentrate on the timber handling and recycling cranes, and TH White offer the Epsilon construction range.
