Osmose reported a “very good level” of interest in its treatment range from architects and other specifiers on its Ecobuild Timber Works stand.

“We’ve been very busy and definitely picked up a feeling that the market is improving,” said the company’s Anthony Bell. “We also found the Ecobuild audience very informed, or wanting to be informed about our products. They’re looking primarily for innovation, new ideas and new market opportunities.”

A key focus on the stand was MicroPro copper-based preservative and the associated MicroShades colourant system.

“There’s also been interest in stabilising oils and fire retardants,” said Mr Bell.
