An opportunity to see sawmill hardware in action will form part of the Elmia Wood international forestry fair in Växjö, Sweden on June 6-8.
Billed as ‘The Lumberman Safari’, the excursion will enable visitors to see machinery in full production at a modern sawmill.
One of the organisers, Alan Sherrard, said: ‘If you’re really serious about investing thousands of pounds in new equipment, then talking to sales reps in corporate booths at expo’s is simply not enough. You need to see and hear that you’re going to get your pounds’ worth from people who have already invested and are operating at some of Scandinavia’s most modern lumber production facilities.’
