Glasgow-based cabinet door manufacturer ARNB has boosted its ability to provide a fully flexible service with the addition of a Weeke BHC350 CNC machining centre.
The company made the investment after growth in demand for its products and services put a strain on its manufacturing capabilities.
Ronnie Cocks, of ARNB, said: “The biggest problem we were encountering was the time it would take to set up and change tools on our old machine. When you’re taking orders for one-off door designs this can be a serious headache.”
The BHC350 machine, sourced through Deral Machinery Services of Glasgow and supplied by Homag UK, was installed at ARNB’s Motherwell workshops.
The Weeke BHC range is available from about £40,000.
