Dr Vic Kearley of TRADA has been elected as the new president of the Institute of Wood Science.
Senior vice-president is Geoff Taylor of Sikkens Joinery and junior vice-president is David Venables of AHEC.
Accepting the chain of office from outgoing president Jim Coulson, Dr Kearley paid tribute to his work for the IWSc over the past two years.
