A new production line being launched at SVEZA’s St Petersburg plywood mill will give it the ability to manufacture large-size film-faced plywood.

The Ust-Izorskij Plywood Mill line, which starts operation on June 9, will have a capacity of 2,700-3,000m3 per month.

One of the mill’s workshops has been rebuilt to accommodate new equipment which includes a Raute film-facing line, an IMA trimming line, Kraft sorting and painting technology and a packing line.

Moscow-based SVEZA, which makes birch plywood of different sizes and chipboard, also has plywood mills in Kostroma and the Vologda region
