The lorries, the first bulk purchase of commercial vehicles by the Stockton-on-Tees company, comprise two 16-tonne Eurocargo 180E24s and two 7.5-tonne Eurocargo 75E17Ss, each fitted with CargoLiner flatbed bodies built by Boalloy.

The two 18-tonne vehicles, which feature Hiab cranes, replace an older Iveco and MAN, while the 7.5-tonne lorries replace trucks previously supplied by Daewoo.

Hathaway and Hoyle’s new fleet, supplied on a five-year contract hire deal through North East Truck & Van, will be used to make deliveries of timber products to builders and the public.
