Belgian veneered board manufacturer Marien-Finaspan has installed a new lacquering line to supplement its range of products.

The line, at the company’s Hever factory, can apply a wide variety of polyurethane-based finishes and stains to boards, which are branded “The Final Touch”.

Aldermaston-based Butler Gurr Ltd, Marien-Finapsan’s UK agent, said no solvents are given off during the lacquering process which provides the finished product with good environmental credentials.

An optional polyutherane protective peel-off film allows customers to do further machining on the surface.
