The company’s “production line 7”, built at FN’s Zell am Moos site, consists of a Paul multi-blade saw, a Weinig Powermat 2000 with nine spindles, a Scheuch extraction system and two new sharpening systems.
The line, operated via a PowerCom touch screen, is designed for medium to large batches. FN said the system ensures flexibility and short delivery times.
“Production line 8” comprises a casing machine connected to a packaging machine.
The company has also purchased a 10,000m2 premises to allow for future expansion possibilities.
“The increased capacity will be divided between expanded markets and existing customers,” said Franz Heuhofer junior.
